So after a colossal spam that I've currently paused, I guess I should reveal my newest project that no one cares about. It's a...pitch?idea? for an animated series I want to get around to once I can get a job in the field of animation that's called Fear Academy. Get ready for some backstory/setup: Monsters are real, and they were forced to attack and scare humans after humans kept invading on their territory and slaying...but some ended up enjoying it. It was a male monster-dominated field (scaring/destroying/killing), but females were still involved, and there wasn't any ''huehue females are worthless'' (sort of like a unconscious desire to separate themselves from what humanity could do) which led to some bizarre sexual dimorphism (males looked more 'monstrous' because they were usually the ones having to attack, while females were more attractive due to the fact they had to appeal to both monsters and humans, as there were friendly humans who would befriend monsters, and some cross-compatible shit could go down) After a while, all the cannon fodder males were beginning to get fewer in number, like, getting rare, so females have started to take hold of the 'monster' field, but a school has been put into place to teach scaring/destroying/killing (but still accepting 'Guardians) as female's genetic memory is usually neutral to humans, but only a few generations of schooling should get the trick, as the genetic memory is easy to impression on.
How it works is: The monsters are all released into a city that has boundaries put over it, and expected to prove their survival skills and go about killing/destroying/scaring/guarding humans. Despite different goals, the monsters don't go into legitimate conflict due to the fact they have to be a literal 'Big Evil Happy Family' in order to handle humanity, although they DO get into friendly sparring matches. Males ARE accepted in to it, but they HAVE to have proved they can handle it prior, with all sorts of documents, so they don't end up wasting a life that belongs to a group that already has few numbers. And so, our protagonist, Jacob the Slasher, comes in here. He came here to just scare, but due to his slasher species, he's sort of pressured to kill and rampage, but is only comfortable with scaring, and even then he doesn't love it all that much, whilst his companion Roxanne, a Lamia, tries to help him with it, despite being a monster who enjoys killing and destroying. Throw in a group of Monster Hunters trying to ''save'' Jacob, as they believe he's a human and a Distressed Dude, and a pretty colossal cast of monstrous characters, and you've got my show.
It sort of plays as a love letter to every horror and monster movie I enjoy, as well as the ''monster girl''...fandom? I think it's a fandom, and shows like Gravity Falls and Courage the Cowardly Dog, with a Gravity Falls/Simpsons/Spongebob sort of sense of humor. I'll update some more later.
